A girls day out doesn’t need much convincing to have a great time. Laughing, lattes in hand, we decided to turn the day into a full treasure-hunt thrifting run. We ended up on South Dixie and wandered into Coastal Consignment Boutique , just to take a quick look. This lasted all of 5 seconds before we excitedly decided this was our destination. In a nutshell, Coastal Consignment is a very upscale thrift store on steroids. No junk, just high-end, well-kept vintage and designer pieces. And not just one or two labels mixed in for effect. We’re talking Gucci, Fendi, Versace, Hermès, Chanel, Tiffany, Stubbs & Wootton, Coach, classic Ralph Lauren, and racks of Lilly Pulitzer that feel like they came straight out of a Palm Beach closet. Christian Louboutin if you’re lucky. As soon as we walked in, a Lilly dress practically jumped off the rack and into my arms. That’s my story if anyone asks. What’s not to love? Bright blues, punchy pinks, fresh greens, the bold tropical prints that built the entire Palm Beach look in the first place. Lilly is impossible to ignore, and somehow always appropriate whether it’s brunch, a boat, or anything in between.
