of Justice’s Prisoners Building Homes programme. As the programme’s largest national employer, up to one-third of Dragonheart’s factory workforce are day- release prisoners, each earning the Living Wage, gaining CITB-accredited NVQs, and contributing to the Victim Support Fund. To date, 35 participants have been supported, with a reoffending rate of 0%, compared to a national average of 25-30%, generating an estimated £4.1 million in taxpayer savings.
