Denis has 4 years’ experience in financial services, specialising in asset management, fund administration, retirement funds and regulated fund structures (collective investment schemes).His client experience to date has included Old Mutual Properties, Prescient Wealth, Boutique Collective Investments (BCI), Africa Collective Investments (ACI), African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) and a number of retirement funds. Denis has recently gained international work experience in London and is eager to see how he can apply himself to the South African Market. Denis brings sound reasoning and fresh perspectives. Denis was also the ‘trainee in charge’ of the Africa Collective Investments in his final year of articles and will bring that institutional knowledge to the engagement.
Chadline’s sector experience include asset management, container leasing and selling, fund administration and insurance. Chadline’s client portfolio included Old Mutual (listed), Trencor (listed and US GAAP conversion), Boutique Collective Investments and MUA Insurance Acceptances. Her client portfolio required liaising with subsidiaries situated across the world including Colombia, Kenya and San Francisco. She recently completed a successful secondment to one of South Africa’s largest asset managers as a consultant where she was responsible for identifying control weaknesses and making recommendations in line with market practice.
Ulrich has completed his training contract and has worked as a supervisor in the financial services business unit of a big 4 audit firm. Ulrich has experience in life insurance, asset management, specialised finance and alternative investments, collective investment schemes and hedge funds. Ulrich is a member of the BDO Specialised Valuations Group and has gained significant valuation experience of financial instruments including unlisted debt and derivatives as well as the review of counterparty credit risk assessments. His client experience, gained on both audit and valuations, includes Old Mutual Specialised Finance, Investec Asset Management, Prescient Group (linked life insurance, hedge funds and collective investment schemes) and Boutique Collective Investment Schemes.
