The Specialised Valuations Group is specifically skilled in the valuation, trading environment, audit and accounting of financial instruments, including derivatives and unlisted debt. His client experience includes Old Mutual Specialised Finance, Prescient Fund Services, Futuregrowth Asset Management and African Boutique Collective Investments. Matthew has exposure to asset management, private equity, insurance and retail investment funds. Kirti started her career in audit at a big 4 firm and has more than 5 years experience in financial services. In addition to her audit role, Kirthi is also a manager in BDO’s Specialised Valuations Group. Kirti’s key areas of specialisation include the full life cycle of treasury and investment bank audits, modelling and accounting for derivatives and money market instruments, market risk reviews and rates verification testing. Within the financial services sector, her focus areas are corporate and investment banking, treasury, credit, property and insurance.
