Finalists have been unveiled for the Northern Ireland Construction Awards 2026, which will be presented by architect and TV presenter George Clarke alongside local broadcaster Claire McCollum at ICC Belfast on October 1. Congratulations to all companies and individuals making the shortlist and now progressing to the final stages of judging in August. Formerly the CEF Excellence Awards, the annual accolades have been rebranded for 2026 to reflect host Construction Employers Federation (CEF) joining forces with the Institution of Civil Engineers and Mineral Products
Association for the first time to create a unified celebration of Northern Ireland’s built environment. The landmark event features Payapps as headline sponsor and will bring together engineers, manufacturers and contractors for the industry’s ‘night of nights’, with more than 800 places already booked for the new venue at ICC Belfast. Mark Spence, CEF Chief Executive, said, “These changes represent more than a rebrand, they signal a new era of collaboration and ambition for our industry. By bringing together construction, engineering and materials
under one platform, we are creating a stronger, more representative awards programme. “The NI Construction Awards 2026 will reflect that ambition, with a larger and more diverse audience, broader industry participation, and a premier setting at ICC Belfast.”
