It significantly enhances the company’s ability to manufacture a wide range of products including lintels, cills, T-beams and prestressed wall panels. By modernising production processes and introducing greater automation, Creagh has dramatically increased output across several product lines. The new equipment has delivered a 233% increase in T-beam production capacity while also reducing manufacturing costs to create stronger value for customers without compromising quality. The investment comes at a time when
demand for high-quality, reliable precast construction solutions continues to grow. For many years, Creagh has supplied major housebuilders throughout Northern Ireland with products such as Spantherm, Hollowcore flooring and precast stairs. The enhanced small precast capability presents an opportunity to strengthen these existing relationships by offering an expanded product portfolio to its customer base. By providing a broader range of precast solutions from a single trusted supplier, Creagh can help streamline procurement, improve programme certainty and maintain consistently high quality across developments. The Ardboe investment forms part of a much wider programme of manufacturing improvements across the business. At the company’s Toome headquarters, substantial upgrades have recently been completed to support future growth. Major electrical infrastructure enhancement has improved site capacity, while new production facilities continue to increase operational efficiency. In parallel, a multi-million-pound investment in a Progress Group mesh welding plant is nearing completion. Once operational, the new system will automate the production of reinforcement cages, improving accuracy, reducing lead times and supporting
continued expansion in wall panel manufacturing. Together, these investments demonstrate Creagh’s commitment to long-term growth and innovation.
