NEW BUSINESS

A. 2020-21 Budget GM Vitrano then went through the budget line by line and gave additional information and background on make-up of assessment being proposed. GM Vitrano asked if President Farmer wanted any discussion for the petition received to eliminate Director of Golf position. President Farmer pointed out that there are some items under this budget line item for golf that are not related to staffing, including the purchase and sales of clubs and other items. President Farmer noted the many improvements in the golf program, including the new Fourtees software. GM Vitrano informed the Board that the 2020-21 Assessment is contingent on passage of Working Capital Fund Resolution and Reserve Fund Resolution. Non passage of these Resolutions would trigger a substantial increase in the amount of the proposed assessment. President Farmer went on to explain each Resolution in detail. Director Leahy commented that the transfer of $164,000 is a transfer between our bank accounts and not an expenditure. He also commented that the transfer of the $164,000 helps bring our funding of the reserve account to the 70% level of funding that has been a long-term goal of the Resort and supports spending for equipment that wears out.
