QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE The post requires the managerial background and experience necessary to provide professional, technical and strategic advice at a senior management level within UCL, to identify and implement opportunities for improvement, and the management of change. Experience and track record of planning and executing transformation and change programmes resulting in performance improvement across a complex organisation. Possessing track record of demonstrating measurable advancement/improvement in operating model, value for money, assurance and compliance and user experience. Experience in an estate leadership role across a large-scale property portfolio with significant operational experience of hard services, including a 24/7 operation which focuses on high standards throughout. Track record of leading the provision of operational estates and facilities across a large-scale portfolio through the delivery of both in-house (from senior managers through to operational staff) and external delivery partners. Experience of leading from the front to build a culture of safety first. Excellent technical expertise and understanding of building systems, legislation and service requirements across a diverse portfolio. Track record of leading complicated transformation programmes. Experience of improving the accessibility of a large and complex estate, working with a range of stakeholders.
