What I did: During my internship, I was assigned to work with my coworker to find potential clients who did not have life insurance. We created a document with questions that could help us identify people who might be interested in getting life insurance. I was also responsible for running insurance quotes and learning how the quotation process works. Another responsibility was learning how to interact with customers professionally and understand what they were looking for. I learned about different types of insurance, what they cover, and how different policies work. I also had opportunities to interact with customers, which helped me improve my communication skills and become more comfortable talking with clients about insurance. What I liked: Studying about insurance networking with different insurance agent handling clients’ running quotations. Future Dream Job: Financial advisor.
