What I did: Processed daily client account transactions, including ACH transfers, internal journal transfers, check requests, and tax payments. Updated and maintained client account and personal information within Thomson ONE. Prepared financial advisors for client meetings by updating household balance sheets, running wealth reports, and organizing meeting materials. Completed a large-scale data consistency project by retitling more than 400 client households in Baird’s Wealth Report software. Researched and developed an innovation project to centralize client intelligence within Thomson ONE Household Hub and improve efficiency across client meetings, calls, financial planning, and documentation. Collaborated with Baird’s Technology Best Practices team to present the innovation project and discuss potential firm-wide implementation. What I liked: I loved how flat the company is. I was able to meet with business unit directors, executive board members, and even the CEO of Baird. Everyone and anyone is willing to sit down and have a chat about advice and careers, it’s just a matter of when they have some time. Future Dream Job: Something in business or talent development.
