What I did: I was in charge of door-to-door sales for the company, writing, documenting and presenting bids to customers. Also was in charge of managing payments and invoices from and to the company. In charge on managing company credit cards and accounts, as well as accounts payable and receivable. What I liked: Autonomy and talking to others. Through my internship it was a lot of work where I could do it independently once I understand the task. I met dozens of customers, as well as gained new relationships with other tradespeople through having to work with other contractors on bids and sales. Future Dream Job: Business side work for a large union construction company.
