What I did: Led daily stand ups and team touch points, gathered and documented business and functional requirements, collaborated with developers, product owners, and business SMEs, created and executed test cases, analyzed business processes and requirements across multiple lines of business, maintained project documentation, user stories and workflows in Confluence and Jira Management System. What I liked: I enjoyed gaining hands on experience by working on an actual project that provides value to the company. Being able to work on a real business problem allowed me to apply what I have learned in school while also developing new technical and professional skills. I also enjoyed building connections within IT and other Sentry business units. Working with different teams and subject matter experts gave me a better understanding of how departments collaborate and how an IT business analyst helps connect business needs with technology solutions. It was a great experience. Future Dream Job: A career within data analytics.
