What I did: Entered and maintained new hire employee data in Oracle. Reviewed employee pay classifications across multiple union agreements. Compiled and organized data for union remittance reporting. Communicated with payroll team members to clarify processes and resolve questions. Assisted with payroll-related projects and administrative tasks. Maintained accurate and confidential employee records. What I liked: I enjoyed learning about the union craft and wage agreements and applying that information to the pay classes of union workers. I liked making connections and understanding/ breaking down a pay class and everything that goes into a wage package. Future Dream Job: Anywhere in the business or accounting field!
