Yasmin could feel her anger turning to rage, but she kept her voice calm. “You know about Uni. You know about my responsibilities at home. And you went ahead and rostered me for these hours anyway. And don’t f… bloody call me Matey.” Simon looked away. “I just thought it was a good opportunity for you.” “Just fix it, Simon. And tell everyone I’m not taking the job.”
