MARYLAND St. John Properties Acquires First Townhome Community

St. John Properties has named Bryan Cyphers as Regional Partner for its new Pennsylvania Regional Office, coinciding with vertical construction on Phase I of Swatara Exchange,

a redevelopment of Harrisburg Mall. The first flex/R&D buildings are expected to deliver in early 2027. Upon completion, Swatara Exchange will feature 550,000+ square feet across 12 buildings, supporting up to 1,000 jobs.

A partnership led by St. John Properties has acquired 111 townhomes at The Villas at Patapsco Glen , marking the company’s first venture in the for-rent townhome asset class. Located in Woodlawn, the community features three- and four-bedroom layouts and resort-style amenities including a clubhouse and pool.

“We see significant investment upside and an exciting opportunity to diversify our portfolio through this new asset class,” said Senior Executive Vice President Sean Doordan. St. John Properties has investments in more than 3,000 residential units.
