IN THE SPOTLIGHT Kris Connors Keeps Burley Running Strong
At Franklin Building Supply, our success has always been built on more than just quality materials. It’s built on our people. Every board, beam, and delivery reflects the dedication of team members who take pride in their work and in supporting one another. We believe that when our employees feel valued, supported, and empowered, they do their best work, which directly translates into better service for our customers and stronger communities overall. That commitment shows up in the way we recognize initiative, encourage teamwork, and invest in growth. From the yard to the front counter, we foster a culture where people step in to help, share knowledge, and take ownership of their roles. One great example of this is Kris Connors, our Yard Manager in Burley, who has been with Franklin Building Supply for
four years. Kris embodies what it means to be a team player and a leader. When asked how he would describe his role, he explained, “My role is really centered around keeping operations running smoothly and supporting both our team and our customers.” Kris wears many hats throughout the day. He oversees dispatch, manages inventory, ensures accurate and timely deliveries, and steps in wherever needed. As he puts it, “Ultimately, my goal is to make sure everything runs efficiently and that our customers and team are taken care of.” That kind of accountability and care is exactly what makes a difference, not just internally, but for every customer who walks through our doors.
that what he enjoys most about his job is “the relationships built with coworkers and customers.” Add in his strong focus on safety, and it’s clear he’s helping set the tone for his entire location. Here’s something fun: If you ever need an ‘80s movie expert, Kris is your guy! Outside of work, he enjoys riding his Harley and taking care of his yard at home.
