® New park & ride on NC 55 to supplement regional service
o For the regional service route to be effective, a new park & ride on NC 55 would be needed to supplement the existing South Park park & ride. This location would allow service opportunity for quickly developing communities around NC 55, NW Judd Parkway, and Hilltop Needmore Road. o Town staff should seek the provision of public transit easements in proximity to likely routes for new mixed-use, commercial, and employment destinations conducive to viable transit service.
