Develop a policy for the installation of warning signs concerning lightning, hail and thunderstorms at outdoor public facilities and begin retro-fitting existing spaces. Expand the Town’s existing fire/smoke alarm program for retro-fitting older structures to include CO alarms. Have a Town staff member that is a Certified Floodplain Manager. Issue an annual local proclamation for Severe Weather Awareness Week and conduct associated promotional activities.
