I. TOWN OF MORRISVILLE
I.1 RISK ASSESSMENT This section contains an inventory of critical facilities at risk within the planning area of the Town of Morrisville. Additionally, hazard risk and vulnerability details are provided for those hazards that are spatially defined and have variations in risk that could be evaluated quantitatively on a jurisdictional level within the Town of Morrisville. The hazards included in this section are: Dam Failure, Flood, and Wildfire. CRITICAL FACILITIES Wake County and the HMPC provided a local inventory of critical facilities and community lifelines, which are a priority for mitigation planning and emergency management. Lifelines are the most fundamental services in the community that, when stabilized, enable all other aspects of society to function. Table I.1 provides a count of critical facilities by FEMA lifeline category within the Town of Morrisville. Figure I.1 shows the locations of all critical facilities within the Town of Morrisville.
