Along its iconic water- front, gleaming superyachts line the harbour, helicop- ters sweep across the skyline, and multimillion-dollar conversations unfold on sun-drenched decks overlook- ing the Mediterranean. At the centre of it all is the Monaco Yacht Show, which has become the undisputed gathering of the global su- peryacht world. Against a backdrop of French Riviera glamour, leading designers, renowned shipyards, naval architects, and brokers converge on the harbour to unveil some of the most extraordinary vessels ever built, many making their global debut. Far more than a yacht exhibition, the annual event spot- lights the latest innovations, from breakthroughs in sus- tainable propulsion and naval architecture to bespoke de- sign and next-generation onboard experiences. For four days, Port Hercule offers an unrivalled glimpse into the future of yachting - and the visionaries shaping it. Unlike broader maritime exhibitions that cater to mul- tiple segments of the boating market, the show focuses exclusively on the superyacht and megayacht sectors. Many of the vessels on display are valued at tens - or even hundreds - of millions of dollars, with some exceeding 100 metres in length and resembling floating resorts more than traditional seafaring craft. A LAUNCHPAD FOR YACHTING’S FUTURE Over the past three decades, the event has evolved from a trade exhibition into the premier platform for major yacht launches and industry-defining announcements. Today, sustainability sits at the heart of the maritime conversation, and the Monaco Yacht Show has posi- tioned itself at the forefront of that shift. Its Blue Wake programme, developed in partnership with Water Revolution Foundation, evaluates environmental مع حلول شــــــهر سبتمبر من كل عام، تتبدل ملامــــــح ميناء هرقل فــــــي موناكو. فالمياه التي تكتســــــي زرقة الياقوت تغدو مسرحًا لأفخم احتفال يعرفه عالم اليخوت، حيث تصطف اليخوت المترفة بمحاذاة الرصيف، فيما تشق المروحيات طريقها في السماء، وتــــــدور على الأســــــطح المطلة على أمواج البحر الأبيض المتوسط أحاديث وصفقات تُقدّر بملايين الدولارات. وفي قلــــــب هذا المشــــــهد، يتصدر معرض موناكــــــو لليخوت الواجهة بوصفه الملتقى الأبرز بــــــلا منازع لعالم اليخــــــوت الفاخرة العملاقــــــة. وعلى خلفية أجــــــواء الريفييرا الفرنسية الساحرة، يجتمع كبار المصممين، وأشــــــهر أحــــــواض بنــــــاء الســــــفن، وكبــــــار المهندســــــين المعمارييــــــن البحريين، وأبرز الوسطاء، للكشف عن يخوت تُجسّد أقصى مــــــا بلغته الحِرفيــــــة والهندســــــة البحرية، ويختــــــار كثيــــــر منها هذا الحدث ليشــــــهد انطلاقته العالمية الأولى. لكــــــن الحدث يتجاوز بكثيــــــر كونه معرضًا لليخــــــوت؛ فهــــــو نافذة تُطــــــل على أحدث الابتــــــكارات، من أنظمة الدفع المســــــتدام، والهندسة المعمارية البحرية، إلى اليخوت المصممــــــة على قيــــــاس أحــــــلام مالكيها، وتجارب جديدة تعيد رسم مفهوم الحياة على متن اليخوت. وعلى مدى أربعة أيام، يتيــــــح ميناء هرقل إطلالة لا تضاهى على مستقبل عالم اليخوت، وعلى العقول التي ترسم ملامحه. وعلــــــى خلاف المعــــــارض البحريــــــة التي تخاطب مختلف شــــــرائح سوق القوارب، يقتصــــــر معــــــرض موناكو لليخــــــوت على قطاعي اليخوت العملاقة واليخوت فائقة الضخامة. وتُقــــــدَّر قيمة كثير من اليخوت المعروضة بعشــــــرات، بل مئــــــات، ملايين الــــــدولارات، فيما يتجاوز طول بعضها مئة متر، حتى يغدو أقرب إلى منتجع عائم منه إلى يخت تقليدي. منصة ترسم مستقبل عالم اليخوت علــــــى امتداد ثلاثة عقــــــود، تجاوز معرض موناكــــــو لليخــــــوت كونه معرضًــــــا تجاريًا، ليغــــــدو المنصــــــة الأبرز لإطــــــلاق اليخوت الجديــــــدة والإعــــــلان عن المبــــــادرات التي ترســــــم ملامح هذه الصناعة. واليوم، ومع تصدّر الاستدامة أولويات القطاع البحري، يواصل المعرض ترسيخ مكانته في طليعة هذا التحول. ومن أبــــــرز المبــــــادرات التي تجسّــــــد هذا ، الذي أُطلق Blue Wake التوجــــــه برنامج Water Revolution بالشراكة مع مؤسسة ، بهــــــدف تقييــــــم الحلــــــول Foundation البيئية التي يعرضها المشــــــاركون، استنادًا إلــــــى مراجعات علميــــــة دقيقة تتحقق من جدواها، بعيدًا عن الادعاءات التسويقية. وبعــــــد المرحلة التجريبيــــــة الناجحة التي ، وشــــــملت 2025 شــــــهدها البرنامــــــج عام حــــــلا في 63 جهــــــة عارضــــــة و 59 تقييــــــم Blue Wake مجــــــال الاســــــتدامة، رسّــــــخ مكانته مرجعًا مهمًــــــا لقياس الأداء البيئي ، يتوســــــع 2026 في القطاع. وفي نســــــخة البرنامج ليشــــــمل أيضًا شــــــركات الوساطة وإدارة اليخــــــوت، في خطوة تعكس تنامي الالتزام بالأداء البيئــــــي على امتداد دورة حياة اليخت. وســــــيطّلع زوار المعرض كذلك على أحدث ما بلغته أنظمة الدفع الهجيـــــــــــنة، التـــــــــــي تجمــــــع بين الإبحــــــار الكهربائــــــي الصامت وكفاءة محركات الديزل عاليـــــــــــــة الأداء، إلــــــى جانب تقنيــــــات الملاحــــــة المدعومة بالــــــذكاء الاصطناعي، القــــــادرة على توقّع الأحوال الجوية وتحسين استهلاك الوقود لحظة بلحظة. ومع تحوّل اليخــــــــــوت، بالنســــــبة إلـــــــــــــى كثير مــــــن مالكيها، من وجهات موســــــمية إلى منــــــــــازل ثانية، باتت أحواض بنـــــــــــاء الســــــفن والمصممــــــون يولــــــون اهتمامًــــــا متزايدًا بتصميم مساحات تُعنـــــى بالصحة والرفاه، تضم غـــــــــرف العــــلاج بالتبريـــــــــد، والحمّامات الشرقية، وأحــــــــــــواض سباحة ذات قيعــــــان زجاجيــــــة، تتكامــــــل جميعها 190 Shawati’ 74 74 شواطئ

solutions presented by exhibitors, validating sustaina- bility claims through scientific assessment rather than marketing rhetoric. Following a successful pilot phase in 2025, which re- viewed 59 exhibitors and 63 sustainability solutions, Blue Wake has emerged as a meaningful benchmark for the sector. In 2026, the programme will expand to include brokerage and yacht management companies, reflecting a growing commitment to environmental performance throughout a vessel’s entire lifecycle. Attendees will also witness the rapid evolution of hybrid propulsion systems that combine silent electric cruising with high-efficiency diesel power, alongside AI-assisted navigation technologies capable of predicting weather patterns and optimising fuel consumption in real time. As owners increasingly use their yachts as second homes rather than seasonal retreats, shipyards and designers are placing greater emphasis on wellness-oriented spaces featuring cryotherapy chambers, hammams, and glass- bottomed pools seamlessly integrated into flexible, highly
customised interiors. THE RIPPLE EFFECT
Beyond the immediate confines of the maritime world, the Monaco Yacht Show exerts a powerful influence on adjacent luxury industries. The design decisions made aboard a 90-metre custom yacht rarely remain at sea; they ripple outward, shaping trends in high-end resi- dential architecture, hospitality, and private aviation. Interior designers look to Monaco to identify emerging preferences in sustainably sourced materials, crafts-
