While water levels in the South Nation
River watershed have stabilized, this is no
time to be careless around waterways.
South Nation Conservation (SNC) has
endeditsWatershedConditionsBulletinthat
wasoriginallyissuedMarch14.Waterlevels
throughout the basin have returned to
normalforthistimeofyearandareexpected
to stay within normal conditions over the
next few days.
SNCcontinuestocautionresidentsalong
watercourses to be aware of hazards
associated with cold fast flowing water and
dam operations. Parents are encouraged to
explain these dangers to their children.
SNCstaffwillcontinuetocloselymonitor
the water levels and weather forecasts as
part of the Flood Forecasting and Warning
program and will provide updates in the
event conditions change.

provide feedbackwith respect to changes in
water related conditions in their local areas
(i.e. highwater elevations, road inundation,
