Communication / Documentation • To communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences.

• To ensure accurate records of work in hand and to provide regular comprehensive reports on all projects managed. • To ensure that regular project update reports are made available to support the overall management of the Directorate and the University. • To promote good communications with the Directorate and University staff, internal and external customers. • Liaise, establish and maintain positive links with eternal agencies and providers. • To adhere to regulations and procedures relating to data protection and information security.

People Management • To lead, manage and motivate each project team to ensure successful delivery of the scheme.

Personal Development / Performance • To demonstrate a commitment to continuing Personal/Professional Development • To keep up-to-date with developments in own field and within University. • To observe and define priorities and timetables in the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. • Adhere to the University’s environmental policy and procedures and seek to promote environmental sustainability within area of responsibility. Equality, Diversity, Health and Safety and Strategy • A strong commitment to the principles and practice of equality and diversity • Thorough understanding and application of the Dignity and Respect Framework • Take reasonable care of the Health and Safety of yourself and that of any other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work. • Co-operate with Keele University in ensuring as far as is necessary, that Statutory Requirements, Codes of Practice, University Policies and School/Departmental health and safety arrangements are complied with. • Keep up to date and adhere to all legislation, regulations and the codes of practice that may affect buildings and services provided, including Health and Safety and CDM regulations; • Prepare and upkeep the section’s procedures manual, ensuring that all matters are properly input, maintained and subject to professional/technical audits. • Maintain Health & Safety responsibilities on individual projects, including client responsibilities under CDM regulations, plant and equipment.
