PROJECT SUMMARY
This procurement solicited comprehensive services for preliminary engineering and final design phases, including support during construction. The services span the domains of architecture, planning, engineering, asset management, construction management, project management and program support. The services are for roads, roadsides, tunnels, bridges, structures, rest areas, inspection areas, weigh stations, toll plazas, travel plazas, surface lots, utilities, ancillary appurtenances, and facilities (buildings, domes, barns, water towers, etc.). The services are driven by system preservation (i.e., maintenance, repair, remediation, rehabilitation, reconstruction, retrofit, upgrades, etc.), system expansion (i.e., new construction), demolition, commissioning, asset management, regulatory compliance, reporting, staff augmentation, etc. MDTA relies primarily on the contracts resulting from this procurement to deliver large and small projects. The procurement resulted in six contracts for potential award. This is the second batch of two contracts. The first batch of three contracts was presented on August 6, 2026. This brings the total number of approved contracts to five.
