NCEA requirements
Level 2 For Year 12 students in 2026, 60 credits are required to gain the Level 2 certificate at Level 2 or higher. You must also have Level 1 Numeracy and Literacy (corequisite) to be awarded Level 2.
Level 3 For Year 13 students in 2026, 60 credits are required to gain the Level 3 certificate at Level 3. You must also have Level 1 Numeracy and Literacy (corequisite) to be awarded Level 3.
