TOWN LEADERSHIP
Advisory Committee: The Town of Wake Forest engaged an Advisory Committee throughout the process comprised of housing experts, community and organizational representatives, agency representatives, and affordable housing development professionals. Public Input Survey: The Town of Wake Forest completed a public survey to gauge the housing issues that residents experience and their perspective on the role of the Town in addressing these issues. Individual Interviews: The Town of Wake Forest conducted interviews and held targeted meetings throughout the process to ground-truth findings and gather feedback on housing tools and potential implementation challenges. Over the course of the 10-month period, the Town spoke with local housing experts to understand the full picture of housing needs in Wake Forest. Engagement with Town Leadership: The Town of Wake Forest solicited feedback and input from the Board of Commissioners throughout the process.
