Albuquerque, NM, was selected as the first - place winner! Thank you all for the support of our relationship with ACE. We are so excited to announce that Therese May, our teacher at JP, and advisor for these students has been chosen to serve on the board of directors. Having a seat at the table will only give our students more opportunities and allow us to know first hand information in terms of internship opportunities. Thank you Ms. May for everything! The Competition presents three real-world project challenges to judge the ability of the students to make reasoned, coherent, clear presentations on their team’s design and construction approaches that are realistic and responsive to the project’s objectives within time, budget, constructability constraints, etc. The competition challenges students to develop innovative solutions, blending architecture, engineering, and construction management into one exciting project. Over the coming months, teams will refine their concepts and prepare to present to industry leaders and compete for top honors. After presenting in front of two panels of industry experts, their design, a Net-Zero Data Center set in Congratulations to our ACE Mentor Program team who participated in the 20TH Annual Construction Industry Round Table National Design and Construction Competition this past Monday in Washington DC.
