Museum Passes from AACPL Use your Library card to get free admission to participating local museums! Upon moving to Maryland in June 2022, my family was eager to start exploring the local area. We stopped by the closest library, signed up for a free library card, grabbed a copy of Happenings and learned about AACPL’s free museum passes! Each museum pass allows free general admission for up to four people and it couldn’t be easier to sign up for a pass through the library’s website at aacpl.net/things . In a matter of a few months, we "It couldn’t be easier to sign up for a pass through the library’s website at aacpl.net/things ." had walked the gardens and completed a scavenger hunt at the William Paca House & Garden, explored the reconstructed colonial buildings at Historic London Town & Gardens and learned about the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. This spring, we plan to explore the architecture and art of the Hammond-Harwood House Museum. Saving money is one of the most significant advantages of using the library’s museum pass program. We were able to visit some of the most historic museums and gardens in the area without paying a dime! We were thrilled to be able to provide our kids with enriching, educational and cultural experiences in our new community and offer them an opportunity to have a deeper connection to the local area. AACPL’s free museum passes are an incredible resource for those who are looking to explore the city’s cultural offerings at no cost. From our family to yours, we highly recommend!
