9 IN-PERSON SCIENCE OLYMPICS ACROSS ALBERTA 371 VOLUNTEER JUDGES 1 VIRTUAL EVENT
Students, APEGA volunteers, teachers, and families gathered in schools and auditoriums across Alberta for the first in-person Science Olympics since 2019—and everyone was thrilled to be back! We brought their experiences to life by producing an action-packed four-minute video , published on YouTube, that captures students’ enthusiasm and ingenuity. •Teams were tasked with solving real-life problems faced by engineers and geoscientists. •We also organized a virtual challenge to keep the event accessible for those who couldn’t attend in person.
