2022 SPECIALTY CROP AUTOMATION REPORT
6.4 MARKET TRACTION OF SPECIALTY CROP AUTOMATION START-UPS
As demonstrated by The Mixing Bowls’ 2022 Crop Robotics Landscape, there are many start-ups working with technology across different crop types, farm environments and activities. The survey results show
most traction (with regards to number of robots) within the weeding and thinning segment (see Figure 43). Harvest automation start-ups have also made notable progress.
