What I did: Within my position, I filled out and helped with completing benefit forms, tracking spreadsheets (time, benefits, etc.), assisted the HR generalist and the HR director with daily tasks, and arranged welcome baskets for our new hires along with writing out birthday and anniversary cards to our employees. What I liked: I really enjoyed the people at my job. I never had a negative encounter with anyone, and everyone seemed to be completing the tasks that they were given. I developed knowledge along with some new friends and connections which will help me network in the future. Future Dream Job: I am not quite sure what my dream job is, but I know I want to love what I do. I want to go to work every day and look forward to the tasks ahead. I know that I need a career that is challenging yet rewarding and will help support me and my family.
