What I did: In this position I wrote requirements so that the developers could make fixes and updates to one of SECURA’s programs. I then helped tested these changes to make sure they were working as expected. What I liked: I enjoyed seeing how the concepts I learn in class translate to the insurance industry. I also loved the culture at SECURA. SECURA’s mantra is “Be Real. Earn it. Have Fun” and it was this philosophy that created a great work environment that allowed me to strengthen my soft skills while continuing to apply and grow my technical skills. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to work as a data analyst for a company that values a great work-life balance.
