Residents’ Council

The council holds us accountable by checking that we meet the Regulator of Social Housing’s consumer standards. It also acts as a consultation group for our strategic projects, and raises issues with the organisation that are important for residents

Informed the development of the Resident Voice Strategy Provided insight and experience into the cost- of-living initiatives we have developed via the Be Wise Team Involved in starting to scope the resident app features Provided insight and experience into the key themes for inclusion in our anti-social behaviour (ASB) strategy Provided a sounding board for our housing transformation work Reviewed and approved all updated resident- facing policies which have become due for review in line with our policy review timetable Attended presentations on the CSAT results, challenged performance, providing ideas and insight into improvements Informed and contributed to our environmental sustainability strategy and sustainability goals Developed the brief for what a good repairs and planned maintenance service looks like in readiness for the re-procurement exercise, including the creation of a video for contractors attending the market engagement sessions Influenced the development and introduction of the performance dashboard for housing
