C25 National housing regulator We are a Registered Provider and regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing. In respect of the provision of Care services, we are also regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Anchor was assessed in November 2021 and awarded the highest ratings G1 for governance and V1 for financial viability. A further in-depth assessment took place after the end of this reporting period in April 2023, and Anchor retained a G1/V1 rating. We have adopted the FRC’s UK Corporate Governance Code and compliance with the Code is reported on each year within the Annual Report and Financial Statements which can be reviewed on our website. Anchor is a not-for-profit community benefit society.
