SCHOLAR MENTOR (EDSU 918) Marcus Lewis, Ed.D. Ed.D. in Career and Technical Education UW-Stout Ho-Chunk Nation Education Department Higher Education Director Marcus.Lewis@Ho-Chunk.com 715-284-4915 ext 1294

Expertise: Dr. Marcus Lewis is a colleague of mine at the Ho-Chunk Nation Education Department, and is also an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation.

Dr. Lewis is a very valuable resource tool for my Ed.D. work, as he just finished his dissertation, and was the person who encouraged me to apply for the Educational Sustainability program. Dr. Lewis has been collaborating with me on all of the Indigenous Arts and Sciences camps we have provided over the past 3 years, and is considered one of the leading presenters on Ho-Chunk kinship. He has vast knowledge about the traditions and practices of the Ho-Chunk Nation, and has also done research on incorporating Ho-Chunk culture and traditional sustainability practices into school curricula. He will be a very valuable tool to assist me with my dissertation subject and research, and has already assisted me tremendously in regards to my topic.
