THE ROLE
Job Summary This is a new role which will be key to achieving Essentia’s strategic ambitions, providing leadership in delivering the Trust ambitions, estate development plan, and capital investments. The role is a key member of the Essentia senior leadership team. The Postholder: • Leads the planning, design and delivery of healthcare facilities that meet the clinical, research and educational needs of the Trust. This includes the management of the Head of Capital Delivery and team; • Is responsible for the healthcare planning, design and fit-out of new developments and the refurbishment of the existing estate, managing the project directors for major projects; • Builds high quality relationships with clinical service leads, to ensure consistency of approach and to ensure critical interdependency risks are transparent and managed; • Leads the training and development of professional staff involved in design and project management to ensure sustainability of technical expertise in the development workforce.
