Dr. George K. Merijohn received his dental degree with high honours from the University of Illinois and his specialty certificate in periodontics in 1981 from the University of Washington. He practiced periodontics full time in San Francisco and is an Associate Clinical professor in post-doctoral periodontics at the University of California San Francisco and University of Washington. A leading seminar and workshop leader at premier dental conferences in Canada and the United States, he also serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Evidence-Based Dental Practice . Dr. Merijohn is a leading expert clinician and published author in gingival recession management and prevention, gingival grafting, non-surgical periodontal instrumentation and aerosol-free dentistry.
