Nicaragua Mission Trip San Juan Del Sur March 4‐11, 2017

Our group of 16 Rotarians, Interactors, Family, and Friends.

Our housing in San Juan Del Sur at  Hotel Villa Isabella.

Desks & Chairs & File Cabinets for Teachers  – funded by multiple Rotary Club donations.

Picking up the  unassembled water  tower and delivering to  Las Marias School for  assembly, installation  and connection.

Purchase & distribution of school supplies.   Made possible by donations  from multiple Rotary clubs.

Rotary District 5810 were invited  guests and the program for  Club Rotario San Juan Del Sur.  Welcome  4‐way test in Spanish  Dallas Uptown Rotary Club &  Frisco Rotary Club Banner  Exchange  Presented us with club pins  Interactors presented on their  experience in Nicaragua

The Hester Hodgdon Libraries for All Program San Juan del Sur Biblioteca  Pública y Móvil

Established in 2002 through  multiple donations, including  Rotary clubs in Colorado and  San Juan Del Sur, to promote  lending libraries in Nicaragua.

We donated over 50  Spanish language  elementary age books  to the library.   The books were  donated by multiple  Rotarians on the trip.

Here we are doing  crafts with the Pre‐K  kids and reading a  children’s story in  Spanish.

Super Woman cape presented in gratitude to Library Jane for her  Rotarian spirited hospitality and friendship.
