ADULT CRAFT AND CHAT Age: 18+
Come and craft in a relaxing atmosphere. We will feature a different craft each month and will have materials on hand to let everyone try out the craft. We will have books and other materials about the feature craft available for checkout. Check our online calendar or call the branch to find the month’s featured craft. 2nd Fri. of the month - 10:30 a.m.
A book discussion group for adults. 4th Thur. of the month - 6:30 p.m. WESTSIDE WRITERS’ GROUP Age: Adults and Teens 14+ A place for adult writers to hone and share their creative writing with a supportive group. 2nd Thur. of the month - 6:30 p.m. TABLETOP TUESDAY GAME NIGHT Age: Adults and Teens 14+ Gather your friends for fun and challenging board and card games. Various games will be offered, but we also encourage you to B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Game). 3rd Tues. of the month - 6:30 p.m. LIBRARY MAKER SATURDAY Age: Teens and Adults, those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Join the maker movement. Every month we explore a different craft or technology. Check our online calendar to find each month’s topic. 4th Sat. of the month - 4 p.m. RASPBERRY PI JAM Age: Teens and Adults, those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Come learn about a different Raspberry Pi component each month and show off your Pi creations. 4th Tues. of the month - 6:30 p.m.
TEEN PROGRAMS TEEN ADVISORY GROUP Age: 8th - 12th grade
Want to have a say about the books and movies the library buys? Need to earn some volunteer hours? Want to hang out at the library, eat snacks, and play some games? If your answer to any of those questions is yes, then the Teen Advisory Board is for you. 2nd Tues. of each month - 6:30 p.m. TEEN SUMMER READING CLUB Age: 12 - 17 years Weekly program for teens. Video Game Challenges, Button making, Cosplay and much more. Contact the library or check the Brazoria County Library website. Every Thur. in June and July - 4 p.m. TEEN ANIME CLUB Age: 13 - 17 years Monthly club meets to discuss anime, watch anime and learn about Japanese culture. 2nd Sat. of the month - 4 p.m.
