CHILDREN AND FAMILY PROGRAMS BABY BOUNCE Age 15 months Caregivers and infants will have a wonderful bonding experience. We will share bounces, lifts, ASL, songs and rhymes as well as one story.
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT Age: 2 - 8 years Thirty minutes of dancing, shaking, clapping and musical instruments. 1st Sat. of the month - 2 p.m. IMAGINE PLAYTIME Age: 1 - 3 years Join your little ones as they pretend play. Have a tea party, go shopping or engineer a train. 4th Fri. of the month - 10:30 a.m. WEEKEND MOVIE AND ACTIVITY Age: All ages Every month we show a different movie and a craft or activity is offered. Call the branch to find out which movie is being shown. 2nd Sat. of the month - 2 p.m. SUMMER READING CLUB PROGRAMS Age: 1st - 5th grade Various weekly programs during June and July. Animals, STEAM, Science of Music, Tesla Coil and much more. Every Wed. in June and July - 2 or 3:30 p.m. Seats are limited and only for students going into first – fifth grade. Hand stamps begin one hour before the program begins. Please contact the branch for programs or check the Brazoria County Library website.
Tues.,10:15 a.m. TODDLER TIME Age: 1 - 3 years
Toddlers will enjoy songs, rhymes and lots of movement during our 30 minute program. We will take a brief break for two stories between our songs and rhymes.
Wed.,10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. PRESCHOOL STORYTIME Age: 3 - 5 years
Preschoolers will have fun with stories, songs and rhymes. We will explore various preschool concepts each week as we journey down the ready reader road. After our stories, preschoolers will work on a craft. Each weekly time is the exact same program to allow for our growing Storytime. Mon., 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. Thur., 10:15 a.m. DOGGY READING TIME Age: All ages Come and read a book to a dog. This program allows reluctant readers to hone their reading skills by reading to shelter dogs. 3rd Sat. of the month - 10:30 a.m.
