Fellow Beef Producers; We invite you to join us at the 7N Ranch sale barn or on the internet at DVAuction.com for our 47th Annual Production Sale, Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Sale time is 4:30 PM CDT. The lunch and refreshment crew will be on hand from noon on, so come early and review this year’s select offering. All sale animals have been video taped and can be viewed on DVAuction.com. We again take great pride in the overall beef cattle qualities and usefulness this offering represents. We feel to better evaluate our females and pass on to you, our customer, only the very best growth traits, we let the cow raise the calf and do not utilize creep feed. The bull calves were weaned October 25th. Weights were taken and booster shots given. After a 5 or 6 day ration of grass or oat hay they were gradually transitioned to bunk feeding of a total mixed ration of corn silage, chopped alfalfa hay and DDG. We focus on growth gain of 3.3 to 3.5 lbs. per day. This is achieved with a 13-14% protein diet. All bulls were semen tested April 15th and checked for breeding soundness by Dr. Troy Dutton, DVM from The Steele Veterinary Clinic. The heifer calves were weaned in early November. Weighed and boosted. They were wintered on a mixed ration of corn silage, alfalfa and DDG and free choice oat hay. The heifers were bangs vaccinated and vet-checked for breeding in mid December. Heifers are guaranteed open. A lot has changed in the beef cattle industry through the years.... from genetics to marketing to type and frame. WARRANTY 7N Ranch 1st Breeding Season Warranty 1. 150 days for breeding soundness – terminates September 1, 2026. 2. Does not cover foot rot or other management disabilities. 7N Ranch will allow credit for determined loss (after salvage value) at next year’s sale. 7N Ranch may offer current year replacement of loss if equal value is available. Bull buyers will have a chance to win $1000 off their bull purchase. Three separate drawings total. Drawings to be held immediately following the bull sale. How it works: On each bull sold, a ticket will be issued on a $4,000.00 bid and another ticket on each additional $500.00 bid. Example: A final bid of $6,000.00 = 5 tickets to that buyer. OFFERING 40 HEAD OF SM/AR CROSS COMMERCIAL HEIFERS Heifers will be sold in groups of 5. All heifers are Bangs vaccinated and guaranteed open.
