Day 1: UK - Baveno Fly from the UK to Baveno, where your adventure begins. Day 2: Lake Maggiore & Borromean Islands Head to your first island, Isola Bella, for a guided tour of its Baroque palazzo and terraced gardens imaginatively planted with orange and lemon trees, plus magnolias and a host of other fragrant and colourful shrubs and plants. Next, visit the tiny fishing village on Isola dei Pescatori, a complete contrast with narrow-cobbled streets, a picturesque harbour, and charming buildings. Day 3: Cannobio, Villa Taranto Gardens & Locarno Today, enjoy a completely different view of Lake Maggiore during your private boat ride to Cannobio, the last town on the shore before the Swizz border. Enjoy some free time before continuing into Switzerland, to the chich resort of Locarno. Day 4: Lake Como This morning, explore Northern Italy’s most famous lake and one of its most attractive too.
