call yesterday from my FIRST client that I commenced a real residential sale with; he is again looking for a home and wants ME and ME only. Do you feel being a woman is an advantage in today’s business world? Why? Why not? Yes.We needwomen to encour- age and inspire more women to take more active roles in busi- ness and life while still being able to maintain our femininity as wives and mothers. Do you feel there are any differences in the way that men and women develop

ALL of our girls are honor roll students, work and have sport activities. (their parents are pooped!) business relationships and if so, what activities or ven- ues do you participate in? Definitely. Boys don’t like to play with girls often. Men immediately take other Men seriously; like with a hand- shake. Women have have to be firm, pass out their resume and give blood almost literally showing their testosterone to prove their validity. Tell us a little about your family. sion you are in, about your current position and why you chose the field/profes- sion you are in today? I began my real estate career about 10 years ago in the way everyone really does. I went to class because I LOVED going to open houses so I thought I could make a living “selling houses.” I began selling Real Estate full time when my daughter Sydeny was born 5-20-2005. I left a Nursing/Administration career for Real Estate. What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen in your ca- reer /profession to change them? My first goal was to earn a living. Later my goal became to get out of debt from “starting my own business”. I learned that I LOVED working with first-time buyers and was very happy when I was educating people on real estate purchas- ing and investing. My greatest goal which I finally achieved was opening my non-profit organization to help people without financial means to purchase Real Estate. What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most successful in your profession? Me. What challenges and or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to be- come as successful as you are today? Sending most men to the Island where the “Lord of the Flies” was written. Well, it is extremely difficult as a petite young woman to be taken seri- ously. When I state; seriously, having a business minded goal, plan and execution. “honey” is not a word I take kindly. What was the most defin- ing moment for you as a woman in the profession you are currently in?
