This built LEED NC + CS Silver project impressed the jury with its transformative simple forms, contrast and composition. The free form building that appear to unravel like a scarf provides a dramatic contrast to the rectilinear high rise buildings. The slight lateral shift of the mass mid height seem to evoke a subtle gesture that accommodates the less restricted undulating forms below. The contrasting building forms on the site appears to represent an aspect of the fashion industry where creative exploration thrives along a parallel path of measured decisions and processes.
