Hermosa Village in Leander, Texas, brings the urban farmhouse trend to multifamily. Eighteen two-story buildings are nestled on 20 acres. The well-executed façades—with clean, white gabled volumes—and planned green spaces make the community feel more like a single-family detached neighborhood. With 240 units ranging from one-bed, one-bath to three- bed, three-bath, the village targets young couples and families and the judges noted it achieves great design for its density.
