Sapphire Bay will become a national destination for conferences, vacationing families, residents looking for a unique place to call home, and businesses who want to locate where their employees can live, work, and play. Rowlett is located in two different counties – Rockwall and Dallas. Rowlett is served by two award-winning school districts: Rockwall Independent School District, serving over 16,536 students and Garland Independent School District, (GISD), which educates approximately 56,471 students across 72 campuses and ranks as the second largest district in Dallas County.
