DEAR IVY TECH SUPPORTERS: On behalf of Ivy Tech Indianapolis, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continued interest in supporting the mission of our institution. Your commitment to education and student success plays a meaningful role in shaping the future of our community and in preparing a skilled and educated workforce. As we continue to invest in the growth and excellence of Ivy Tech Indianapolis, we are pleased to introduce Ivy Tech Indy: Reimagined for the Future. To meet the growing demands of the healthcare, manufacturing, and technology industries—and to provide exceptional service to our students—our Indianapolis campus is undergoing major upgrades to the Illinois Fall Creek Center (IFC) and the North Meridian Center (NMC). This is an extraordinary opportunity to expand opportunities for our Health Sciences and Nursing Schools while enhancing the overall campus experience for all students. By creating facilities modeled after modern workplaces, this initiative will provide innovative learning environments and hands-on experiences that our students deserve. Many of our students balance work, family responsibilities, and financial challenges while pursuing a better future for themselves and their families. Ivy Tech Indy: Reimagined for the Future will also strengthen student support by centralizing essential services in one convenient location, ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed. The future of Indianapolis depends on the success of our students and the workforce. I, along with my fellow trustees, invite you to become part of this transformative journey by considering a naming opportunity in either the NMC or IFC buildings. In this packet, you will find beautiful renderings of classrooms, labs, student lounges, and student service centers, as well as information on how to schedule a tour of these state-of-the-art facilities. Thank you for your continued support of Ivy Tech Indianapolis and our mission to transform lives through education.

Centralizing student resources is a great idea. While interning with IvyCares, I often saw how overwhelmed and exhausted students felt when they were referred to multiple offices across campus. Having these services in one location will make them easier to access and would likely increase both awareness and use of the resources available to students. ”

Our renovated labs elevate everything about how we prepare future healthcare professionals. Students are no longer imagining what a hospital or clinical setting might look like — they are learning in environments designed to replicate them. This investment ensures our graduates enter the workforce not only qualified, but fully prepared to meet the complex needs of our community. ”
Dr. Terri Fleming Dean, School of Health Sciences
IFC SURGICAL TECH OR LAB CONCEPTUAL RENDERING

HEALTHCARE BY THE NUMBERS 1,368 Health Sciences Graduates
355 Newly credentialed nurses entering the workforce — strengthening patient care capacity in Indianapolis and beyond. Nursing Graduates
Students earned credentials across high-demand healthcare disciplines — supporting hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and community health providers throughout Central Indiana.
I read my offer letter over and over again because I knew this was the beginning of something bigger. Ivy Tech is preparing me not just to pass the NCLEX, but to walk into a hospital CONFIDENT, CAPABLE, AND READY TO CARE FOR PATIENTS FROM DAY ONE.
STUDENTS NOW TRAIN IN: • Hospital-style patient rooms • Advanced simulation labs • Immersive clinical environments • Collaborative training spaces that mirror real healthcare settings The renovated IFC facility ensures that students practice in spaces that reflect modern hospitals and clinical environments — building confidence, competence, and career readiness before they ever step into their first job.

IFC NURSING LAB CONCEPTUAL RENDERING
WHY THIS MATTERS Healthcare employers need graduates who are prepared on day one. By modernizing IFC, Ivy Tech Indianapolis ensures that students are not just credentialed — they are workforce-ready, employer-aligned, and equipped to serve our community.

At Ivy Tech Indianapolis, access to education is more than opportunity — it is transformation. Many of our students are the first in their families to attend college. Many are working adults balancing careers, children, and coursework. Many are determined to build a better future — not only for themselves, but for the generations that follow. When a student earns a credential: • A family’s earning potential increases. • A parent models possibilities for their children. • A community gains stability and strength. Behind every statistic is a story of resilience, ambition, and sacrifice. FACILITIES MATTER BECAUSE EXPERIENCE MATTERS. When students walk into modern labs that mirror real hospitals … When they access advising and tutoring in one centralized hub … When they receive career coaching that connects them directly to employers … They do not just persist. They thrive. This campaign is not simply about renovating buildings. It is about removing barriers and expanding belief. Your investment ensures that access leads to completion — and completion leads to generational change.
When I started college as a first-generation student, I thought I had to figure everything out on my own. I realized that it’s okay to ask questions, to stumble, and to learn as you go. Success isn’t about being perfect—it’s about showing up, pushing through, and giving yourself grace along the way. Being First Gen isn’t easy, but it is powerful. We are not just changing our future—we are rewriting what’s possible for the generations that will follow. ” EDUCATION CHANGES TRAJECTORIES

THIS IS WHAT TRANSFORMATION LOOKS LIKE.
I WAKE UP EVERY DAY THINKING, ‘I’M REALLY DOING THIS.’ IT SEEMED SO FAR-FETCHED AT FIRST, BUT NOW I’M HERE, AND I’M NOT STOPPING.”
When Essence Greene became a mother at 22, college felt out of reach. She was working as a nurse’s aide, raising two children, and trying to imagine a future that looked different from the one she had known. No one in her family had gone to college. Stability — not a degree — was the priority. But something shifted. I DIDN’T COME THIS FAR TO ONLY COME THIS FAR, she told herself. Over the years, Essence took classes when she could. She navigated financial obstacles, balanced work and family, and refused to let setbacks define her. When she wasn’t accepted into the RN program the first time, she applied again — and earned her place. Today, at nearly 40, Essence is enrolled in Ivy Tech Indianapolis’ Nursing Transition program, advancing from LPN to RN. She wakes up every day thinking, I’m really doing this. Her children say, “My mom’s a nurse,” with pride. Her nieces see what is possible. And Essence sees a future that once felt far-fetched — now within reach.
– Essence Greene
It’s a mother becoming a nurse. It’s a family’s trajectory changing. It’s a student discovering she belongs.
Transformation isn’t just new buildings or modern labs.
With continued investment in spaces designed for real-world learning, more students like Essence will walk into classrooms built for possibility — and walk out prepared to serve their communities. This is what transformation looks like.
