A care development site in Moreton-in- Marsh has been sold on behalf of Mercian Developments to regional care provider, Taylor & Taylor. The development includes full planning permission for a high specification 60-bedroom care home, situated on the edge of the CotswoldsArea of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is part of the former Fosse Way Farm on the west side of Stow Road, which is also known as the Fosse Way (or the A429). It sits behind an Aldi food store and adjacent to a modern hospital and medical centre. The sale was completed by commercial property advisers Christie & Co. Charles Taylor, managing director at Taylor & Taylor, said: "This site represents a wonderful opportunity for our company to expand our group and bring our high-quality care offering to the people of Moreton-in-Marsh. The plans produced for Foden Estates show the site as being only 100 metres from the major intersection of the A38 Cole Avenue, Bristol Road and A430, ensuring plenty of passing custom.
