o rn and raised in a small town in Oklahoma, Stephanie Holl- man now lives in Dallas with her husband, Travis, and two young sons, Chance and Cruz. She stud- ied at Oklahoma

State University and earned a degree in psychology, which she used to help women and children. Before marriage, she worked with families and children at Head Start, which promotes school readiness of children under 5 from low-income families through educa- tion, health, social and other services, and at the Madonna House homeless shelter, as a social worker. That’s why, now, managing charitable giving for her husband’s company, Hollman, Inc., which makes sports, fitness and workspace lockers, is a natural fit. Her personal focuses have been The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and The Family Place, the largest domes- tic-violence agency in Dallas. Having a place on The Real House- wives of Dallas has been surreal, to say the least. Hollman’s hope is to shine a light on important issues of domestic-violence prevention and the importance of mentoring girls and boys, to empower them to make positive, educated choices. “We don’t have to be perfect to be valued,” she says. “Sometimes we take ourselves and our circumstances too seriously. It’s important to bring a balance of humor and silliness, to lighten life’s load. Everywhere we turn, we hear doom and gloom — but, if we take the time to look around, we will see that beauty is all around us.” Here, some questions for the passion- ate Hollman about other passions: jewelry, fashion and family.
