Executive summary.
As a member of the University Leadership Team, the post-holder will lead the successful delivery of the University’s ambitious estate, comercial, and facilities development plans in the context of the University’s strategy. The Director will balance strategic leadership with innovation and operational delivery, building strategic partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders and taking responsibility for delivering a complex portfolio of development, innovation, improved user experience and value for money. The Director of Estates & Campus Services will be responsible for oveseeing the physical estate (maintenance, refurbishment and capital projects), facilities, space management, student residences, hospitality and conferencing, sports, security, catering and other ancillary services. This is an exciting time to join the University during a period of expansion and we have ambitious plans for the future. As we develop our next strategic plan we are looking for an ambitious, inclusive, student focused and forward thinking Director of Estates & Campus Services to join us on this exciting journey to build upon the success of our Waterside Campus and look towards the future.
