T he Irish Electrical Benevolent Association (IEBA) is opening its 2023 event calendar with the traditional Leopardstown Race Day in Dublin, on February 5, which has already been sold out. IEBA’s next events include the Annual Golf Day at Killeen Castle in May, and the Charity Ball, which will take place at the InterContinental Dublin Hotel, in November. However, work is just starting for the charity, which acts as a network within the industry offering practical help and support to people in need. Their board members (see panel) have a full year of fundraising ahead. The work undertaken by the IEBA

triathlons, golf events, and more. In-house fundraising is the perfect opportunity to get your colleagues together for the perfect team- building experience, all in aid of a fantastic cause. IEBA was founded in 2001 and has been active in helping many members of the electrical industry, and their families, who have experienced difficulties with bereavement, depression, terminal illness, accidental death, special treatments, or training. The association continues to make

a real difference in the lives of electrical industry employees and their families. And with your help, awareness and support the charity can do a lot more to assist those less fortunate.
